Terms of sale

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions of sale apply to the purchase of tickets and any goods from the Jewish Cultural Festival Trondheim (JKFest). The terms and conditions, together with your order and the order confirmation, constitute the entire contractual basis for the purchase. Sales to consumers are regulated by, among other things, the Consumer Purchase Act, the Right of Withdrawal Act, the Marketing Act and the Personal Data Act.

2. The parties

Seller: Jewish Museum Trondheim
Address: Architect Christies gate 1B, 7012 Trondheim
Organization number: 997 172 299
Email: martin@jodiskmuseum.org
Phone: 991 28 083

Seller is hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us” or “seller”. Buyer is the consumer who places the order, and is referred to as “you”, “your” or “buyer”.

Ticket sales are carried out via the ticketing platform Hoopla. Hoopla's terms and conditions and privacy policy also apply to the ticketing and payment solution itself.

3. Prices

All prices are in Norwegian kroner and include VAT where applicable. When purchasing via Hoopla, a ticket fee from the ticket supplier may apply in addition to the ticket price.

4. Ordering and conclusion of the agreement

The agreement is binding on both parties when the order is registered and paid for. You will receive an order confirmation by email. We recommend that you check that the confirmation matches the order and that you keep it. We reserve the right to cancel an order in the event of obvious price or typographical errors.

5. Payment

Payment is made when ordering through Hoopla, normally by credit card or Vipps. The amount is charged when the agreement is concluded. We do not store card details.

6. Delivery

Tickets are delivered digitally to the email address provided immediately after purchase, and are displayed at the entrance on mobile or as a printout. If we sell physical goods, these will be sent to the address provided within a reasonable time. If you have not received your ticket, please contact us at martin@jodiskmuseum.org and we will help you.

7. Right of withdrawal

Tickets: Purchases of tickets for events at a specific time are exempt from the right of withdrawal, cf. the Right of Withdrawal Act, section 22, first paragraph, letter m. A ticket purchase cannot therefore be cancelled after the agreement has been entered into. See point 8 regarding what applies in the event of cancellation and relocation.

Goods: For purchases of physical goods, the ordinary right of withdrawal applies within 14 days after you have received the goods, cf. the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act. The right of withdrawal requires that you notify us within the deadline; you can use the right of withdrawal form from the Norwegian Consumer Authority. The goods are returned in substantially the same condition, and you normally cover the return cost.

8. Cancellation, relocation and refund

If an event is cancelled, we will refund the ticket price. Ticket fees to the ticket supplier are normally not refundable.
If an event is moved to a new date, the ticket will normally remain valid until the new date. If you are unable to attend the new date, you can request a refund of the ticket price within 14 days of the new date being announced.
Refunds will be made to the same payment method used for purchase, within 14 business days. We do not refund travel, accommodation or other costs you may have incurred in connection with the event.

9. The ticket – validity and use

Each ticket grants admission to one event and can only be used once. The ticket is scanned at the entrance. We may ask for identification for discounted tickets (for example, senior citizens, students or children). Purchase and use are in line with the event's age limits and practical requirements. Resale of tickets at a higher price than face value, including fees, is not permitted, cf. the Act on the Prohibition of Price Mark-ups in the Resale of Tickets to Cultural and Sports Events.

10. Complaints and defects

If you have any objections to the purchase, please contact us as soon as possible at martin@jodiskmuseum.org . In the event of defects in an item, the complaints rules in the Consumer Purchase Act apply. We will process inquiries as quickly as possible.

11. Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which describes what information we collect, how it is used, and what rights you have. Information that is necessary to complete the purchase is processed for this purpose.

12. Conflict resolution

We follow Norwegian law. If a dispute arises, we encourage you to first contact us so that we can try to find a solution. If this does not work, you can bring the matter to the Norwegian Consumer Authority and the Consumer Complaints Board. You can find contact information and guidance at forbrukertilsynet.no and forbrukerradet.no.
