Originating from the Barcelona Gipsy Klezmer Orchestra, the Barcelona Gipsy Balkan Orchestra has positioned itself as one of the leading players on the world's Balkan music scene. The unique combination of musical traditions creates a distinctive sound that resonates with listeners worldwide, and the expression crosses both artistic and geopolitical borders. In this concert they play a klezmer repertoire spiced with both the Balkans and the Mediterranean coast.
With a timeless approach to music, the band has paved the way with magnificent live performances, carrying with them seven intertwined stories from different cultures and ways of life. In their seventh studio album, Barcelona Gipsy Balkan Orchestra takes us on a colorful journey through original compositions, lyrics and melodies that have been patiently waiting for an opportunity to be shared with the outside world.
